Three Quilts Out the Door

These have probably been photographed before, but you get to see them again, because they are finally completely done and are boxed up and ready to send. These three are going to Wrap Them in Love. WTIL used to send quilts mostly to orphanages around the world. I think they still send some overseas, but now they also help out with local needs (in the state of Washington) such as gifts after forest fires, floods, etc. Wherever they go, these three quilts will be appreciated by their recipients. Thanks to all DCSQ members who continue to help with community service projects.

On another note, remember to plan for our guild Shop Hop on May 29. If you plan to go, please send an email to Susan S. (See email reminder that was sent out on 5/23.) We will be traveling south to Rochester. We plan on carpooling and will meet in the parking lot of the closed Rainbow Foods in Inver Grove Heights on Hwy 52 and Concord Street exit for a 9:00 AM departure. There are quilt shops as we head south to Rochester, two shops in Rochester, we'll stop for lunch in Rochester and will visit one quilt store on the way home.
